Our team

Jennifer Faulkner
Owner, Registered BAS Agent
Jennifer launched Valley Bookkeeping Solutions in 2014, with a passion for quality bookkeeping and a heart to support local business.  After its humble beginnings in her home office, the business grew quickly, with an overwhelming response from local businesses.  In January of 2019, VBS moved proudly to its permanent offices in downtown Watervale, South Australia.
 
As a MYOB Certified Consultant, Xero Certified Partner and Member in Practice of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, Jennifer’s main passion is to empower clients to navigate the often complicated and overwhelming world of bookkeeping. 
 
In her spare time, Jennifer prides herself as an assistant winemaker alongside her husband, in their small private vineyard.  She loves to grow, pick and eat all the fresh fruit and vegetables from their well-stocked garden.

Lauren joined VBS in February 2019 and hit the ground running.  With a keen interest in bookkeeping and a love of organisation, she is a valuable member of our team.  Hiding a messy box of receipts and invoices?  No worries for Lauren - she loves bringing order to chaos and takes pride in untangling even the most challenging admin messes.

 

Away from the office, Lauren enjoys working with her husband and three small children on their hobby farm.

Jessica joined the team in early 2021 to offer administrative support to the VBS office and its clients. 

 

With a love of organisation and a gift for administration, graphic design and web design, Jessica's role covers general office work, data entry and accounts work, as well as design and copy-editing work such as resumes, cover letters, template designs, proof reading, websites, logos and much more.

Working remotely from Brisbane, Queensland, Jessica is mum to a six-year-old son and is expecting her second child later in 2021.  She and her husband love board games and enjoy taking family adventures to the mountains and the coast.

Starting my business was daunting and being a winemaker, my strong suit wasn't the Bookkeeping.

 

Cash-flow and keeping up with the ever-changing Tax system are a challenge and Jennifer has completely eased that burden. This allows me to focus on creating wine and making the business grow.

 

This wouldn't happen without Jennifer and her team. Valley Bookkeeping Solutions are an important cog in our wheel and I love dealing with someone who gets all aspects of the business and takes the worry away.
